The Solo 421 is also effective spreading ice melt, oil absorbents, seeds and a variety of granular products. From the Manufacturer Agitator allows material to drop onto impeller evenly, improving uniformity of spread and eliminating blockages. Adjustable for drop rate and direction. I would imagine the size Large socks would also fit up to size 14 shoe, but probably need to go with XL if foot is lager than 14.
