This book is the story of our healthy early love, our divorce in the crazy times of the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, the sexual revolution, the post-Vatican II American Catholic world, and God’s grace bringing us back to a beautiful (and fun again) marriage. The book focuses on the sacrament of matrimony, the negative consequences of contraception, woman’s role and the feminist movement, and basically the steps to saving a marriage that looked by every standpoint to be beyond redemption. It includes the interesting, the difficult, the funny and the uplifting.
