Michele Giacomazzi, electric guitar, Francesco Giacomelli, electric bass and Diego Vergari, drums, in other words, the classic "power trio". The chosen territory is a sort of fusion that sees the most classic electric jazz blend with blues stylings and rock excursions... If one wanted to recall something similar, it would be more than legitimate to mention the style of the great guitarist Robben Ford, to whom the Trio pays homage by performing his famous "Freedom", "Life Song", and "The Brother." This is overwhelming music that features three authentic international class acts. Giacomazzi returns to recording after many years of absence in projects under his own name and exactly 20 years after his first legendary CD for Velut Luna, "In Viaggio," which has reached and sold out two re-pressings. Diego Vergari is a drummer who played consistently in the US Band, with whom he also accompanied great international stars live, starting with Wilson Pickett. And no less, Francesco Giacomelli, a bassist with a strong and authoritative approach, the pulsating engine of the trio's groove.
