Craftsman Hammer End Tips (Carbon Tech) | Premium PDR Hammer Tip Set

Upgrade Your Hammer for Precision and Surface Safety

The Craftsman Hammer End Tips by Carbon Tech give your PDR hammer a refined edge for precision blending and controlled tapping. This professional two-pack includes one red rubber tip and one yellow plastic tip, each designed to handle a range of dent repair work with accuracy and consistency.

Every tip comes pre-installed with an aluminum adapter, ensuring instant compatibility with any standard 5/16" threaded PDR hammer. Whether you’re working steel or aluminum, these soft-impact tips deliver a clean, consistent strike that moves metal without leaving marks — ideal for delicate blending, crown work, or finishing touches.

Engineered by Carbon Tech, one of the most trusted names in professional Paintless Dent Repair tools, these hammer tips combine flexibility, control, and reliability in a simple upgrade that fits right into your workflow.

Built for Professional PDR Work

Each material serves a purpose:

  • Red Rubber Tip: Offers a softer, cushioned impact that’s perfect for subtle blending or final surface adjustments on sensitive areas.

  • Yellow Plastic Tip: Provides a firmer, more responsive strike for standard panels and heavier blending where more feedback is needed.

Together, they let you adapt to every panel, temperature, and repair type without swapping hammers.

Key Features

  • Two-piece set: includes one red rubber and one yellow plastic tip

  • Pre-pressed aluminum adapters for universal 5/16" hammer fit

  • Ideal for crown blending and soft knockdown work

  • Safe on both steel and aluminum panels

  • Engineered for control, comfort, and surface protection

  • Durable construction for long-term professional use

Professional Control You Can Feel

PDR technicians rely on feedback and precision. These Carbon Tech hammer tips are designed to reduce vibration and provide a clean, predictable response with each strike. The balanced hardness levels between the rubber and plastic tips let you fine-tune your blending work — from soft crown flattening to detailed edge work — while maintaining a consistent rhythm.

Whether paired with a WQ Carbon Crafty Hammer, Dent Reaper, or any other 5/16" threaded hammer, these tips perform flawlessly and withstand the daily demands of mobile or shop-based PDR work.

Durable, Pre-Installed Aluminum Adapters

Each tip is permanently seated in a machined aluminum adapter, which means you can thread them directly into your hammer with no extra setup. The pre-pressed design ensures a tight, secure fit and eliminates the need for extra collars or fasteners. The aluminum also prevents wear at the connection point, extending the life of both your hammer and tips.

Perfect for All Environments

Paintless dent repair isn’t always done under perfect conditions. Carbon Tech designed these tips to handle both hot and cool climates, making them reliable for:

  • Hail repair work in varying humidity

  • In-shop panel corrections

  • Mobile repair operations on the go

No matter the surface or setting, these tips help maintain steady performance and a professional finish.

Why Choose Carbon Tech Hammer End Tips

  • Proven durability from a trusted PDR brand

  • Quick install — ready to thread and use

  • Balanced feel for smoother blending sessions

  • Designed for all skill levels and repair environments

  • Fits most modern 5/16" threaded hammers

These tips aren’t just replacements — they’re an upgrade that gives every strike more control and every blend a cleaner finish.

Student Review
This book is an excellent introduction to the basic principles of insurance. We used this text as a supplement in our Intro to Act. Sci. class. It is very readable, easy to understand. Minimal mathematics required, some basic calculus concepts used, but only briefly. Don't let it's small size fool ya, it has plenty of information in there.

A #MustRead for cybersecurity practitioners
Format: Kindle
Rick Howard's latest book is the ultimate reference for cybersecurity practitioners, making it an essential read for anyone in the field. With his straightforward and refreshingly irreverent writing style, coupled with his profound technical knowledge, Rick has created a narrative that is easy to understand and grasp. He delves into the foundational aspect of cybersecurity, which he refers to as the cybersecurity first principle, which he then it to specific high-impact strategies. The book has eight well-written chapters providing a comprehensive overview of those strategies. Importantly, Rick then offers an up-to-date and thorough exploration of the complementary capabilities (tactical-level tools) that can be utilized to "reduce the probability of material impact due to a cyber event" - the cyber first principle. In the concluding chapter, Rick succinctly summarizes his contribution to the field, stating, "And that's it. Those are all the tools you need to design, build, and enhance a cybersecurity program based on first principle thinking." This assertion highlights the value of his book as a practical guide for designing and improving cybersecurity programs with a focus on first principles.

Absolute must read if you oversee any portion of a cyber security program!
Format: Paperback
I loved this book. The concepts and ideas presented are a great wake up call for an industry that is so focused on blinking light hardware and the next big technological thing...this book challenges the paradigm that you need to strip your security culture down to some very core ideas...then build a solid security program around your security first principle(s). Without that core idea, you're just throwing away money on tools that may not actually be addressing your root needs. Great read for anyone looking to rethink their security program, security culture, and security spend. BRAVO!

Context, Strategies and Wisdom in a single package
Format: Kindle
This was my first book I have read by this particular author. I had spent some time looking for a comphrensive approach to Cyber Security and found many other texts to be lacking. Certain aspects are well documented, but no single source that brought it all together. This is exactly what First Principles brings to the table. As a practicioner that looks for better ways to formulate the objectives of SecOps Use Cases I have found the methods presented in this book to be immensely helpful. I have also given copies aways as a gifts to students who are just entering the field as this is by far the best intro to the long history of Cyber Security that combines the best direction for the future. The historical context that the author brings through first hand experience is beyond a treasure trove. It has been said many times in cheezy ads, but honestly, if you only read one book on Cyber Security make it this one.
