D'Orio (also of Ec8or) and Annika Line Trost kick their samplers to the curb as you've never heard them before I for their fourth release on Monika, Cobra Killer have teamed up with mar doling orchestra Kapajkos to produce something quite extraordinary. Still present are Cobra Killer hits such as "Heavy Rotation," "l. A. Shaker" and "Show Me Your Ruler," but gone are the electro beats and retro samples. These have been replaced instead with a classical folk instrumentation; three mandolins, bass, keys and percussion. The effect is most striking. New life has been given to many of the songs from last year's 76/77, the Third Armpit, and Cobra Killer. This fresh take on the Cobra Killer sound adds a new dimension to the band. It's the same unstoppable energy we know and love but from a completely different perspective. With this album Trost and D'Orio show they have the artistic freedom and creative originality to do something entirely new. The crowd surfing, wine showering spontaneity of Cobra Killer's live show is reflected in their decision to move in an unpredictable direction with this new album, defying comparison. This fresh new project is sure to satisfy fans of the girls as well as anyone just looking for something a Lillie unusual and exotic. Absolutely worth the purchase
Color: 10 in 500 White
These plates are perfect. Very sturdy and leak proof. Although if food is extremely hot, you will see a little moisture where ever the plate was resting. Don't mistake this for leakage. These plates are compostable and come in two colors. A brownish beige for every day, and a pure white if you prefer the brighter color for a more semi elegant style. The white pairs well with glassware and metal eating utensils. Both are reasonably priced, the white costing 69 plus dollars and the beige 10 dollars cheaper . 500 plates last me about a month and a half. Only because we use them for everything all day every day. I highly recommend these plates. They're worth every penny.
