Miss Burma tells the story of modern-day Burma through the eyes of Benny and Khin, husband and wife, and their daughter Louisa. After attending school in Calcutta, Benny settles in Rangoon, then part of the British Empire, and falls in love with Khin, a woman who is part of a long-persecuted ethnic minority group, the Karen. World War II comes to Southeast Asia, and Benny and Khin must go into hiding in the eastern part of the country during the Japanese Occupation, beginning a journey that will lead them to change the country's history. After the war, the British authorities make a deal with the Burman nationalists, led by Aung San, whose party gains control of the country. When Aung San is assassinated, his successor ignores the pleas for self-government of the Karen people and other ethnic groups, and in doing so sets off what will become the longest-running civil war in recorded history. Benny and Khin's eldest child, Louisa, has a danger-filled, tempestuous childhood and reaches prominence as Burma's first beauty queen soon before the country falls to dictatorship. As Louisa navigates her newfound fame, she is forced to reckon with her family's past, the West's ongoing covert dealings in her country, and her own loyalty to the cause of the Karen people. Good, but use batteries

i’m always really skeptical of trying new face washes but I do love this brand and I’ve been using their lotions forever. It’s the only thing that keeps me hydrated so I thought I would give this a try I do have pretty dry skin so if I use that product alone with no moisturizer, of course I’m going to be dry, but with this wash and their lotion that I use, my skin is hydrated, I am not breaking out. This is definitely become a favorite for me, I do wear a little bit of makeup, but I haven’t tested if the wash itself takes off all the makeup I use their micellar water and then I use the cleanser and that works great!! even with that double cleanse as long as I’m using that lotion, my skin is not dry at all. I have noticed my makeup goes on smoother and I’m hydrated through these winter months. the gel texture is different, but it feels nice on the skin for me It doesn’t feel like you have to keep washing to get it off. A little goes a long way and I wouldn’t really say there is a scent to it but it’s just a very clean smell

The best face wash for extremely dry face!

Best facial cleanser for very dry face. I use tretinoin and have very dry peeling face at times, that can be unbearable. I've tried nearly every brand of face wash and type. This is the best!!!! It leaves my face silky smooth, helps get all the dead skin off and lessens to eliminates my itch. I mean it when I say it's wonderful!
