Sahib Shihab's career started in the late 1930's where he would play for the likes of Luther Henderson and Roy Eldridge while studying at the Boston Conservatory. During the 1940's Shihab played with many of the greats from this period, including Thelonious Monk, Art Blakey, Miles Davis and many more. Especially his work with Monk proved to be important as it marked the switch from alto to baritone saxophone. The present release was recorded alongside Kenny Drew, Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen, and Jimmy Hopps in Copenhagen in 1971, and features a programme of works mostly by Shihab. "Most of the compositions are by the leader, starting with the exotic blend of hard bop and African rhythm, featuring Shihab's dancing soprano sax and Pedersen's bass solo. Drew switches to organ and Pedersen makes a relatively rare appearance on electric bass on the funky "Sentiments". The leader switches to baritone sax for Drew's exuberant ballad "Extase". Great shirts have to iron first

They feel great the material, they’re thin, the style looks good, the length to and below my waist is good. For the cost they’re good shirts and they’re definitely loose fitting, however they shove them in a tight bag so if you plan on wearing this straight away from delivery day make sure you have an iron ready every single collar and I ordered over 7 shirts comes folded over. Took a star away for the fact they don’t pack them how you would find a higher price shirt packed and typically wear ready.

Cool, comfortable, with a little stretch. Comes out of the dryer wrinkle free (be sure to hang it up right after you take it out of the dryer) price was reasonable. I measured my husband's neck and it fit exactly as it should. Good length to the back of it too, which is sometimes a problem for my husband. Do not see any quality issues. Not excessively thin or too thick. Really, I can't think of any way to improve on this shirt.

Nice shirt, but sizing isn’t ideal for big and tall builds
Size: XX-Large Tall, Color: Black
The shirt itself is decent quality and looks good, but the fit wasn’t great for me. If you’re a big and tall guy, this may not be the best option.
The material has some stretch and feels comfortable, but the overall cut runs smaller and doesn’t offer much room in the shoulders or torso. It works better for slimmer or more standard builds.
If the sizing works for you, it’s a nice-looking shirt. Just be aware that it’s not very forgiving in the fit if you need extra room.
