Trees are a wonderful subject of art. Join us our treescape painting workshops at Grasby Art Studio in NW Calgary Bowness and create a feature wall painting. Capture our local deciduous or evergreen trees with an impressionistic or realistic palette fat over lean. In this workshop you will:
- create a luminous underpainting
- layout your own compelling composition
- create an analogous or complementary colour palette
- layer your paint "fat over lean" with brush and palette knife
- create a finished painting with a clear focal area, that is balanced for value and colour intensity
