The DX7II-FD is an updated version of the classic DX7. It is slightly smaller, better buttons, larger sliders, updated 16-bit digital circuitry, patch memory was doubled to 64 voices, enhanced MIDI support, micro-tuning capabilities, aftertouch controlled pitch bending, multiple LFOs, bi-timbrality and keyboard split and layering capabilities.
Condition:
- This is a used item.
- This unit is physically in good condition! It shows some general small scuffs, nicks and scratches. Nothing major. Overall a nice synthesiser. Please see photos for further details.
- This DX7 has had a minor service. This included installing a new memory battery. All the factory presets are present.
- The floppy disk drive still works.
- Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale, please see our other listings. Refunded my purchase price
I purchased the "TESmart" 2 computer KVM Switch. I always get the added warranty these day for electronics and I am glad I did. It has now been 3 years and the unit has stopped working correctly. It would switch between computers but the mouse and keyboard stopped working for one of the computers. I'm not sure exactly which component stopped working because the keyboard and mouse worked fine for the other computer. I did plugged the mouse and keyboard directly to the computer in question and they worked fine. I believe the "push threw" stopped for my W11 computer, meanwhile, the W7 computer keeps trucking on.
I say all that to say this, it's worth paying a few dollars more to get that little bit of extra security on the electronics these days. Unfortunately the prices have gone up on the KVM switches, at least the ones worth buying so I am in search of a new one now.
ASURION was easy to work with. It wasn't that much of a hassle. The slight glitch I experienced was their automatic system didn't register my claim correctly. Only mistake I made was making the claim over a weekend. I would say if you make a claim do it during the normal business hours. I was able to chat with an agent during working hours and they were able to remedy the issue quickly. I did have to ship the KVM switch and its components to Asurion but they paid for shipping and once I was able to package and ship the unit back, Asurion refunded my purchase price completely with an Amazon Gift Card.
So, all in all, it's all good!

Knowledgeable and helpful
I purchased a new Sony TV and was having a lot of trouble coordinating the settings. After struggling for 1.5 days, I gave up and called the number for Asurion. There was a reasonable wait while I found the "right" tech person, but it was worthwhile. He was knowledgeable and patient. He gave me confidence and we worked together to solve all my issues. At the end he became pressuring, wanted me to buy a monthly gig with them.
