Giallo paglierino il colore alla vista, luminoso e pulito. Il naso è profondo e aromatico, ricco di sentori che ricordano la frutta tropicale matura e i fiori gialli. In seconda battuta il bouquet è completato da sfumature agrumate e da nuance minerali. L’assaggio è lungo e coerente con l’olfatto, di buon corpo e di buon equilibrio.Vendemmia manuale, pressatura delicata delle uve, fermentazione e riposo in acciaio sui propri lieviti: gli ingredienti sono semplici, come semplici sono i passaggi della ricetta, però scrupolosamente seguiti, per dar vita a un sorso intransigente, pulito, puntuale e di alto livello qualitativo. Come in tutte le etichette che produce, anche nel Gewürztraminer la cantina Girlan ripone le massime attenzioni possibili. Il risultato è dato da un bianco tanto immediato quanto gradevole, ricco nella sua tipica aromaticità, poi allo stesso tempo attraversato da sottili ma piacevoli sfumature fresche e sapide. È un Gewürztraminer buonissimo.
Versatile negli abbinamenti, accompagna preparazioni aromatiche e saporite. Da provare insieme al fegato alla veneziana.

Very nice if you aren't too pick on actual color.

Colors may vary. I really liked this, it was the perfect size and that perfect combination of soft and fluffy, but not being "too fluffy" and looking like a shaggy dog that needed a haircut. My only complaint was the color. Supposed to be blue, and I know monitors and lighting distort stuff but this was an obvious turquoise/teal. Much much greener than I was looking for. I could have made any variant of an actual blue work from powder baby to practically navy, but not this. I had to return, but other than the color, this seemed to be a very nice rug. Sad the color was so off.
